Stooges Stuffed Burger Bar, located in Lockport’s historic Old City Hall, found a unique way to support Niagara Hospice with what it does best: stuffed burgers.

Stooges recently created a “Pancho Burger,” inspired by a loyal, passionate and well-known Buffalo Bills fan who passed away in the spring after a battle with cancer.

The “Pancho Burger” was as Buffalo-themed as could be, stuffed with chicken wing dip and tossed in crushed blue and white tortilla chips. For every specialty burger sold, Stooges donated $5 to Niagara Hospice. The featured menu item was a big hit in the community, raising $700 for the organization.

“When we found out Stooges was creating a specialty burger and donating the proceeds from the sales, we were impressed with their creativity and generosity. We thank Stooges owners, Joe Blaszczak and Adrienne Kuzma, and their staff for their support,” said Allison Bolt, special events coordinator at Niagara Hospice. “We are so grateful for all businesses that hold fundraisers on our behalf that directly support our patients and their families as they face late-stage illnesses. We welcome the opportunity for businesses and organizations to contact us to discuss their options for future fundraisers.”

Businesses interested in holding a fundraiser for Niagara Hospice can call the special events department at 716-280-0780.
