Approximately 150 people attended the first Grand Island Rotary Club Town Supervisor Candidates’ Night Wednesday night in the Grand Viking Theater of Grand Island High School.
The candidates – Thomas Franz, Conservative Party; Jim Sharpe, Democratic and Working Families parties; and John C. Whitney, Republican and Independence parties – spent two hours answering questions about such topics as development, infrastructure, traffic, and the Southpointe project.
The Rotary Club of Grand Island, with assistance from members of the Grand Island High School Interact club, ran the event.
