Thursday evening, seven student athletes from Lewiston-Porter High School signed to continue their playing careers collegiately.
The signees, joined by family, friends and coaches, gathered in the gymnasium at Lewiston-Porter High School to pen their names and take another step towards continuing their student-athlete careers.
Lancers boys basketball and football coach Matt Bradshaw hosted the event and said the seven athletes who signed left a “legacy of winning” at Lew-Port. This season alone, the Lancers won four Niagara Frontier League titles and four Section VI titles.
The signees included: Joe Powers, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, football; Jake Westadt, SUNY Oneonta, soccer; Riley Crum, Niagara University, softball; Alexis Lindamer, Mercyhurst University, soccer; Tanner Reisman, SUNY Cobleskill, soccer; Larissa Reid, Mercyhurst University, softball; and Aidan Salick, Buffalo State College, football.
