The Department of Youth, Recreation and Parks feels this program will not only recognize veterans contributions to our country, but will honor their bravery, and pay tribute to our veterans unselfish sense of duty. The youth need to see the duty veterans fulfilled, challenges met and sacrifices made by the many honorable service men and women.  The department extends an invitation to every veteran in the Tonawanda's to participate in this program as well as youth volunteers.
