The EMS students in Sara McCartin's class at the Niagara Career and Technical Education Center recently put their skills to the test by running a real-life scenario at the school.
The students' role-played that a victim was found with multiple injuries and they were responding to the scene. The students treated and stabilize their patient who suffered from a head would, a knife wound to the stomach and a leg injury and then loaded him into an ambulance.
Thanks were extended to Rapids Volunteer Fire Co. for helping the students with their exercise.
