Chiavetta's BBQ proceeds to benefit disabled man

There will be a Chiavetta's chicken barbecue and basket raffle fundraiser on Sunday, Sept. 23, from noon to 3 p.m. at St. Martin Lutheran Church, 322 Old Falls Blvd. in North Tonawanda.
Proceeds will benefit Scott Warner, who was hurt during an accident at his home in Pendleton back in 2012 and has been disabled ever since. He has a wife and two sons. These monies will help the family with his ongoing medical costs. Thrivent Financial will provide some financial support.
Tickets are $10 presale (through Sept. 16) and $11 at the door. Baked goods and beverages will be available. Basket donations should be dropped off at the church by 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22.
