Sheriff James R. Voutour recently announced the release of the Niagara County Sheriffs Office mobile app. This new mobile app, "Niagara County Sheriff NY," is available for download on both Apple and Android devices. It has many features that will allow residents and visitors of Niagara County to stay connected with the NCSO. By downloading this app, one can receive alerts on emergency notifications, breaking news events, road closures and more.
In addition, users can communicate with the NCSO by submitting a confidential crime tip, search for sex offenders living in your area, view inmates that have been booked in our correctional facility, post bail and explore some of the many programs and services that are available through the NCSO.
"Keeping up with technology is important," said Voutour. "We need to utilize innovative tools to better connect with members of our communities. Our hope is that the 'Niagara County Sheriff NY' mobile app does just that."
