Critically acclaimed documentary "Apple Music's Can't Stop Won't Stop: A Bad Boy Story," starring Sean "Diddy" Combs, and produced by Live Nation Productions, will air Thursday, Dec. 28 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT), on FOX. Originally released on iTunes earlier this year, the film explores the passion and personalities behind Bad Boy Entertainment and takes an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the history of Bad Boy and the label's mastermind, Combs, aka Puff Daddy, as he tries to reunite his Bad Boy family for the biggest homecoming in hip-hop history.
As the biggest names from Bad Boy history prepare to celebrate the label's 20th anniversary, "Apple Music's Can't Stop Won't Stop: A Bad Boy Story" traces the label's emergence in Harlem and Brooklyn, follows its meteoric rise, explores the tragic killing of rapper Biggie Smalls, and celebrates Bad Boy's influence in reshaping music, fashion, marketing and culture - all while revealing the love and commitment that form the bonds between the Bad Boy family. The film culminates with two 2016 performances at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, when iconic artists, including Combs, Lil' Kim, Mase, Faith Evans, Mario Winans, 112, Total, Carl Thomas and The Lox perform hit after hit to the sold-out crowd. The special also features performances by Jay Z, Usher, French Montana and Nas.
Combs also is featured as an expert panelist on new music competition series "The Four: Battle For Stardom," premiering Thursday, Jan. 4 (8-10 p.m. ET/PT), on FOX. Joining him on the panel are record-producing hit-maker DJ Khaled, Grammy-winning recording artist and songwriter Meghan Trainor and record label executive Charlie Walk. Eight-time Grammy Award-winning, multi-Platinum solo artist Fergie will serve as host of the series, which begins where the other shows end: With the best.
These four top-notch artists, spanning all music genres, will fight each week to defend their coveted seats on the show, as determined newcomers challenge them and try to knock them out of the competition. The singer who is the last standing at the end of the competition will earn the ultimate prize: the panel of industry experts becomes key players on the winner's team. This elite group of star-makers will guide the winner's career to help make him or her a breakout star.
