Kelly's Country Store made a donation to a local service organization as part of the store's annual holiday fund drive.
Sean Kelly of Kelly's Country Store presented a check for $1,500 to WNYHeroes, money raised from sales of Christmas trees on the store lot near the corner of Long Road and Grand Island Boulevard.
WNYHeroes provides veterans, members of the armed services, and widows and children of deceased veterans with access to essential services, financial assistance and resources. Nicole Meisenburg of Kelly's said the store chooses a different beneficiary every year. Sales of Christmas trees this year (pictured below) will go to support Mercy Flight.
Lawler said tree sale hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Sunday at the store.
