Christmas activities coming to Town of Niagara

On Friday, Nov. 24, the Town of Niagara will host "Noel at Niagara" in Veterans Memorial Community Park, 7000 Lockport Road. The holiday festival, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., will include musical entertainment featuring Bob Volkman, fireworks and the official flipping of the switch on the holiday light display in the park.
The day after "Noel at Niagara," the town will host the first of four Saturday's with Santa festivities. From 6-8:30 p.m. Nov. 25, Dec. 2, 9 and 16, kids and families can come visit the North Pole workshop at the Calvin K. Richards Center. Santa Claus will be in attendance every meeting.
On Dec. 19, the town will host Christmas activities at the Calvin Richards Center from 6-8 p.m. Activities include ornament decorating, Christmas caroling and Mr. No the Balloon Guy. Lastly, the town will host a Christmas party for ages 7 and under from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, and one for ages 8-12 at the same time on Dec. 21 at the Calvin Richards Center. The night of fun will include food available for purchase, magic and fun with Rob Allen, arts and crafts and visits from Santa Claus. Registration is required. Contact the recreation office.
