HART names new executive director

HART Interfaith Inc. of Lewiston recently announced Lisa Lannon was appointed as its new executive director.
Lannon has extensive experience in not-for-profit fundraising, donor development, event management and community relations. She served for 14 years as annual appeal and special events manager for the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center Foundation and held similar positions with the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, Association of Fundraising Professionals Buffalo Chapter and the Child Advocacy Center of Niagara.
Active in several community organizations, Lannon has served in volunteer leadership positions with the Niagara Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Niagara, Rotary Club of Niagara Falls, the Pine Avenue Business Association, Youngstown Yacht Club and the First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown.
Lannon is a 1997 graduate of Leadership Niagara, and is also a fundraising scholarship recipient from the National Society of Fundraising Executives.
In announcing the appointment, HART board of directors' president Judith Tederous stated, "Lisa's vast experience demonstrates that she is a proven leader who will be a welcome addition to our HART team as the organization is experiencing significant growth."
A graduate of Lewiston-Porter High School, Lannon received advanced education at Niagara County Community College and Buffalo State College. She and her husband, Bob, reside in Lewiston. They are the parents of three daughters: Kaley, Taylor and Alyssa.
HART, the Home Assistance Referral Team, was established 36 years ago and provides referral services enabling the elderly and infirm to remain independent in their homes by linking them with qualified and affordable help.
