Seven K-9 units from area law enforcement agencies recently participated in a random drug search at Lewiston-Porter High School. Dogs from Lewiston, Niagara County, State Police, North Tonawanda, Town of Tonawanda and Amherst participated in this search. K-9's, police and school administrators searched the school from top to bottom, including classrooms, bathrooms, locker rooms, lockers and even the cars in the parking lot. No drugs were found during the search. Future scheduled and random searches are already being planned for area schools.

In the photos, Lewiston Police Department K-9 Officer Scott Stafford and Taser search a classroom and a bank of lockers.
