The Rotary Club of Buffalo reports that it has installed Laurie Albertsson of Grand Island as a director of the club for 2012-13. Albertsson is vice president of Fernwood Capital & Leasing.

The Grand Island American Legion Post No. 1346 installed its officers for 2012- 13 at its monthly meeting June 27.

Patricia A. Johnson of Tonawanda has been re-elected to the Board of Trustees for the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Foundation of Accounting Education.  She is an assistant professor of accounting and program coordinator of the forensic accounting masters at Canisius College.  Her teaching interests include fraud examination and government and nonprofit accounting.
