Memorial Medical center honors volunteers

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center recently honored more than 300 community volunteers for contributing a combined 44,740 hours of service to Memorial in 2011. Leading the way was Don Roulley (pictured), who contributed 1,507 hours to the medical center's escort and coffee cart services.

Alice Avdoian, Phyllis Corey, Joe Currie, Bill Everest, Diane Glynn, Suzanne Muller, Mel Ricker, Peggy Shenk and Alice Snyder were honored for donating more than 500 hours of service each. Memorial volunteers include active adults, Medical Center Auxiliary members, middle school, high school and university students, and participants from the Mary C. Dyster Center for Young Parents and Niagara County employment and training programs.
