Kelly Ripa seeks 'Cutest Kid,' 'Coast-To-Coast Co-Host'

"LIVE! with Kelly," host Kelly Ripa has announced a new search that will gladden the hearts of parents everywhere: "LIVE's Cutest Kid Search."

All parents think their children are the cutest, and now "LIVE" is giving them the chance to show they're right. The show is looking for entrants in two categories: babies, for little ones between the ages of 6 and 48 months, and "big kids," for 4 to 8-year-olds. Three finalists in each category will be flown to New York City to appear on "LIVE" and participate in a professional photo shoot. Then it will be up to the show's viewers to vote online and decide on the winners.

The winning baby and the winning big kid each will enjoy a seven-day cruise for a family of four aboard Norwegian Cruise Line. And the "Cutest Kid" winner with the most overall votes also will receive a fully loaded, brand-new 2013 Dodge Journey for his or her family.

To submit their kids, parents should send a recent photo along with their name, address, day and evening phone numbers and the child's name and date of birth to livewithkelly.tv or livescutestkid.com. Entry photos and information also can be mailed. Further details are available at llivewithkelly.tv. The deadline for entry is noon ET on Friday, July 6.

•"LIVE! with Kelly" also is conducting a nationwide search for one lucky viewer to have the chance to go from watching "LIVE" at home to co-hosting for a day with Ripa. 

"LIVE's Coast-To-Coast Co-Host Search" began on June 11. Viewers can submit video entries, online or by mail, of up to 60 seconds in length, demonstrating why they should have a chance to co-host with Kelly. Participants are encouraged to be creative and show off their best hosting techniques. The deadline to enter is June 29. After all of the entries have been reviewed, many will be available in a viewing gallery on the "LIVE" website during the week of July 3. The top 10 semifinalist videos will be selected and announced on July 9. Then, it will be up to the "LIVE" audience to weigh-in on their top 5 favorite video submissions.

The top 5 finalists will be announced on July 11, and the co-host hopefuls will travel to New York during the week of July 16 to compete for a chance to become Kelly's guest co-host on July 24.
