All-you-can-eat tamales!

Legends Bar & Grill and Old Falls Street, USA, are partnering up to host the first ever Cinco de Mayo Block Party on May 5.

The block party will premiere The Legends Bar & Grill National Chicken Tamale Eating Championship Presented by Old Falls Street, USA. The Chicken Tamale Eating Championship is authorized by All Pro Eating Promotions. 

The contest will be held at 8:15 p.m. on Old Falls Street's middle block.

Nationally recognized professional competitive eaters Eric "Silo" Dahl and Stephanie "Xanadu" Torres have already signed on. The championship is open to the public and local competitors are encouraged to participate.

Prize money will be awarded to the top three finishers. Top prize is $600 and a trophy. Second and third place will receive $400 and $200, respectively.

Since this is the first of its kind, a brand new All Pro Eating National Chicken Tamale Eating Record will be established.

The block party doesn't end with the eating competition. Live music will be played throughout the night inside Legend's Bar and Grill. The outdoor Cinco de Mayo block party will also feature games, beverage vendors and traditional Mexican food.
