Modern Corporation this week unveiled the latest addition to its growing fleet - split-body trucks. Geared to make local neighborhoods even more environmentally friendly, with split-body trucks Modern is capable of picking up both recycling and waste from residents at the same time, using only one truck.
The split-body trucks are designed to have two completely separate compartments - one side for recycling and one for waste -separated by a metal wall. Recycling and waste are never mixed.
The split-body trucks are more efficient. Using split-body trucks allows Modern to reduce the number of trucks on the road and, in turn, reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
