On Saturday, Oct. 8, Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls, USA will host the second annual international "Pinktober" living ribbon and free concert.

The "Pinktober" living ribbon is a human chain of breast cancer survivors and their loved ones, as well as supporters of the cause, which will span across the Rainbow Bridge overlooking Niagara Falls.

Artists performing during the event include Steven Page (formerly of the Barenaked Ladies), Buffalo's Alison Pipitone, and k-RIDE. Proceeds from the event will benefit the American and Canadian cancer societies.

The $20 living ribbon registration fee benefits both cancer societies. To register, visit ACS at http://queencityprints.com/pinktober/ or Canadian Cancer Society at http://convio.cancer.ca/goto/pinktober2011.
