Messiah Lutheran Church announces its "Fruits of Our Labor Bazaar" will take place Friday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the church hall, 915 Oneida St., in the Village of Lewiston.

Sponsored by the Women's Guild of Messiah, chair Joan Spira reports the day will feature crafts, a country store, baked goods, "trash and treasures," woodworking displays, a basket auction, raffles and more. A quiche and spinach salad luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and a light supper of beef on weck and salad will be offered from 5 to 6 p.m. The basket auction drawing and raffles will commence at 6 p.m.

Spira notes the guild's "The Fruits of Our Labor" cookbook will be on sale for $10, and 2012 Entertainment Books are available for $30. Area residents are invited to stop by.
