The Niagara County Builders Association brought its own version of a parade to this year's Canal Fest parade in North Tonawanda. The builders' float highlighted their Parade of Homes show, which will open Sept. 17 and run for three weekends.
Show chair Kristin Savard, commenting on NCBA's participation at Canal Fest, said, "We entered the Peach Festival parade in Lewiston last year, and we were very well received. It's a fun way to promote our home show."
The NCBA will feature nine new homes by eight different builders in locations throughout Niagara County and Grand Island. The public is invited to tour the houses free of charge.
