Thu, Jun 9th 2011 02:10 pm

Addiction conquerors will offer a Life Recovery Group each Tuesday evening beginning at 7:30 p.m. June 14 at Wheatfield Community Church.

Addiction Conquerors is a Christian 12-step program to minister to those who are victims of any addiction. The Rev. Pat Lavery, co-founder of Addition Conquerors, will lead the group. All are welcome.

"These addictions can include an unhealthy dependency on addictive agents such as alcohol, drugs, food, relationships, materialism, perfectionism, sex, television or something that keeps an empty void that the person just can't seem to fill," noted the Rev. Linda Badame, senior pastor of Wheatfield Community Church, located at 3571 Niagara Falls Blvd., in Meadowbrook Square plaza, Wheatfield.

For more information, call 553-3794 or 886-2957.

•Wheatfield Community Church also will offer a healing service on Friday, June 17.

Anyone in need of healing or prayer is invited to attend the 7 p.m. service. Individual as well as group prayer for healing will be available. The healing service is offered on the third Friday of each month at the church.
