The Town of Porter Republican Committee has announced its endorsements of candidates seeking office in the town and in Niagara County in the November general elections. John "Duffy" Johnston, town GOP Committee chair, reports the committee has officially endorsed incumbents Jeff Baker and Larry White for seats on the Town of Porter Town Council, Gail Zachary for Porter town clerk, Scott Hillman for Porter highway superintendent and Clyde Burmaster for Niagara County legislator.

"All these respective office holders have served the needs of the community and local residents well," said Johnston. "They deserve our support and we're happy to endorse them.

"I ask residents to do the same, both in coming days as candidates and Town GOP committee members visit their homes with petitions, and in the voting booth this November."
