Ride for a cause

The Greater Niagara Legion Riders are raising funds to help several local veteran causes with a Wounded Troop Ride on Saturday, June 18.

The second annual Dice Run will benefit Jammies for GIs, Blue Star Mothers and Niagara Hospice.

The ride starts and ends at American Legion Post 1451, 6525 Ward Road, Sanborn.

Registration for the 75-mile ride will be at 11 a.m., with the first bike out at noon. There will be a 50/50 drawing, door prizes, hot dogs, live music and an appearance by the Buffalo Jills.

Ride fee is $15 for riders and $5 for passengers.

The ride is supported by Lower Niagara Moose Lodge 584, the Burt Hotel, Dolan Post in Lockport, Sikora Post in Tonawanda and Wheatfield Post 1451.
