The following is a sampling of police calls in the Town of Niagara and Wheatfield as reported by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office from May 2 to 9.

Monday, May 2

•Lena Drive, Wheatfield, check the welfare. Check on a 5-year-old and an 8-year-old possibly home alone; kids crying.

•7000 block of Williams Road, Wheatfield, criminal mischief. Building spray-painted over the weekend.

•7300 block of Townline Road, Wheatfield, larceny. Tools taken.

Tuesday, May 3

•3900 block of Forest Parkway, Wheatfield, loud music. Ongoing complaint.

•2500 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard, Wheatfield, illegal dumping. Van seen in back of business near dumpster.

Wednesday, May 4

•2900 block of Walck Drive, Wheatfield, missing person. A 90-year-old man gone for an hour to get a sandwich.

•700 block of A Street, Town of Niagara. Complainant said husband stole ATV.

Thursday, May 5

•7300 block of Townline Road, Wheatfield, reckless driver. Two motorcycles driving recklessly.

•2400 block of Osprey Lane, Wheatfield, reckless driver. Ongoing problem.

•200 block of Manny Drive, Town of Niagara, check the welfare. Complainant reports smelling foul odor.

•3300 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Town of Niagara, neighbor problem. Neighbors arguing about barking dog.

Friday, May 6

•2100 block of River Road, Wheatfield, criminal mischief. Window smashed overnight.

•6900 block of Goldfinch Court, Wheatfield, custody problem. Son won't go with father.

•Rhode Island Avenue, Town of Niagara, fight. Report of possible gang fight pending; 15 people.

Saturday, May 7

•7000 block of Walmore Road, Wheatfield, check welfare. Complainant heard garage door open; someone in garage.

•Forest Drive, Wheatfield, check the welfare. Man laying in the road near the pond.

•8100 block of Britton Road, Town of Niagara, juvenile problem. Complainant reports three juveniles trying to break in house across the street.

Sunday, May 8

•2300 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard, Wheatfield, domestic. Female reported screaming, "He is gonna kill me!"

•7000 block of Nash Road, Wheatfield, property damage. Lawn and mailbox damaged by a car overnight.

•8000 block of Ashwood Drive, Town of Niagara, 911 call. Dialed by 12-year-old by mistake.
