The Williamsville Central School District has Western New York's most generous pay scale for teachers, according to rankings issued recently by Business First. Niagara-Wheatfield ranked 11th for the second year.
Business First analyzed salaries at five key points in a typical teacher's career, and used that information to analyze the pay scales at all 98 Western New York districts. This list is based on a Business First analysis of the latest data from the New York State Education Department.
The region's smallest district, Wyoming, was at the bottom of the regional list.
