Western Door Paranormal will present an evening of ghostly fun on Saturday, March 26, at 7 p.m. at the Lewiston Opera Hall, 732 Center St., Lewiston.

Michelle Kratts, the Lewiston Public Library's genealogy and local history expert, will open the evening with a brief history of the building, which was built in 1832 by Joseph Hewitt. The Independent Order of Odd Fellows, the current owners of the building and hosts for the evening, have held meetings there twice a month since the 1870s.

The program will feature a video recorded at the Opera Hall one evening last fall, when members of WDP spent the night with cameras and microphones, documenting the mysterious after-hours inhabitants of the very old and historic building.

Those who dare can accompany members of WDP on a ghost tour of the building.

Light refreshments will be available. This is an all-ages event involving stairs, darkness, suspense and possible encounters with the paranormal.

Proceeds will go toward preserving and restoring the Lewiston Opera Hall, home of Sacarissa Bell Rose Lodge No. 307 IOOF.
