Public health, mental health departments suspend operations
Niagara County has closed the Shaw Building, which houses the Public Health and Mental Health Departments, due to a water main break.
Operations at the site, and an adjoining county print shop were suspended at 1:15 p.m. due to a break in a City of Lockport water main. County employees working at the site were released for the remainder of the day.
Niagara County anticipates resuming operations at the Shaw Building, which is located at 5467 Upper Mountain Road, on Monday morning at the normal time.
Additional information will follow only if the closure is extended.
