'Bruce In The USA' comes to town

Acclaimed Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band tribute
takes stage Feb. 25 at 8 p.m.

The Center for the Arts, University at Buffalo (www.ubcfa.org) will present "Bruce In The USA" on Friday, Feb. 25, at 8 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre, located at the Center for the Arts, North Campus.

"Bruce In The USA" is much more than just another tribute band -- this high-energy musical experience is a note-perfect and visually accurate recreation of a Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band show. 

To millions of diehard fans around the world, it is Springsteen's marathon, party-like performances that have elevated him to hero status.  For those lucky enough to get a ticket, there was nothing that could fill the void in between Bruce's long-awaited tours ... until now. 

"Bruce In The USA" assaults the senses in a fun-filled and exciting party atmosphere. They have been met with critical acclaim by even the toughest skeptics, from the Stone Pony and Asbury Park to large theaters across the country.  These positive reviews are largely contributed to the sellout crowds on their feet from the first song to the last.

The "Bruce In The USA" show originated on the Las Vegas Strip in the winter of 2004 debuting at the Aladdin Hotel and Casino's "V Theatre." Matt Ryan, from the World Famous "Legends In Concert" cast, played the Springsteen character for eight years in their full-scale Las Vegas show. The great success with "Legends" helped Ryan evolve into the "Bruce In The USA" show. His portrayal of "The Boss" (not to mention his jaw-dropping resemblance) is as close as one can get to seeing the real thing in concert. Backed by a powerful band, "Bruce In The USA" takes this genre of performance art to a whole new level, making it the world's No. 1 tribute to the E Street Band's legacy.

E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons once joined the band on stage in New York and claimed that it was the greatest tribute he had ever seen.
