The Grand Island Conservative Party invites all residents of Grand Island to an evening with State Sen. Mark Grisanti at the Buffalo Launch Club, 503 E. River Road, from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 27. Tickets are $40 per person or $75 per couple and are available at the door, by contacting any committee member, or by writing the Grand Island Conservative Committee, P.O. Box 76, Grand Island, NY 14072. Tickets will be available at the Launch Club the evening of the event.

Grisanti, who was elected last fall to the 60th District seat in the State Senate, represents approximately 300,000 constituents from an area that includes portions of Buffalo, the City of Tonawanda, Niagara Falls and Grand Island. He received approximately 7,000 votes from Grand Island residents last November in an election in which he defeated incumbent Antoine Thompson.

"Without the people of Grand Island, my being elected to office could not have happened," said Grisanti. "I want to hear what is on the minds of the taxpayers of Grand Island. My interests are in fulfilling the hopes of Western New York and listening to my constituents. People made it clear when they headed to the polls last November that they want change, and I plan on getting out into the community to let them know that things are going to change and it starts with talking to the homeowners and business owners of Grand Island."
