Grand Island students giving back through Neighbors Foundation

Students from Grand Island High School gave back to their community Tuesday by lending a hand to the Grand Island Neighbors Foundation Christmas food drive. Pictured at left, students from Casey's Corner school store donated $200 from the "Something Sweet" fundraiser to the Neighbors Foundation. From left: school store advisor Cheryl Chamberlain, Ala Bleich, Mike Seaman, Nicolette Corrao, Hank Kammerer of the Neighbors Foundation, Katie Rustowicz, Monique Wright and Katie Turner. The students made the donation at the Knights of Columbus hall, where sorting of 4,000 pounds of donated food for needy Island families took place Tuesday.
