Mary and Larry Montani of Lewiston will be the featured honorees at the 11th annual "Good Works Gala" of the Mount St. Mary's Foundation.

The black tie gala will be held Saturday, Sept. 25, at The Niagara Falls Country Club, 505 Mountain View Drive, Lewiston.

The proceeds from this year's gala will go to the Campaign for Women's Health for the creation of the Breast Care Center at Mount St. Mary's.

Gala chairmen Lisa and Scott Munro of Lewiston and co-chairmen are Michele and Michael Mistriner of North Tonawanda.

Mary Montani, a breast cancer survivor, was the honorary chairman of the foundation's successful "Campaign for Women's Health," which has raised more than $1 million to establish the Mount St. Mary's Breast Care Center.  With the leadership of campaign Chair Robert Minicucci of Health System Services, Dr. Peter Ferin, chief of radiology at Mount St. Mary's, and a team of volunteers, the initiative has brought digital mammography and other state-of-the-art technology to the Imaging Center at Mount St. Mary's.

"Mary Montani helped lead the fellow members of the foundation campaign committee to bring state-of-the-art diagnostics to Niagara," said Kelly Besaw, foundation board chairman.  "Her untiring efforts and support from her husband, Larry, were critical to the success of our campaign."

The event will include dinner, dancing, and a live auction.
