A robber, wearing a stocking mask, jumped over the counter, pushed tellers aside and took an undetermined amount of cash on Monday morning at the M&T bank on Military Road, near Niagara Falls Boulevard.

No weapon was displayed.

Niagara Falls and Town of Niagara police officers responded to the bank shortly after 11 a.m. and were told the robber was last seen heading west into some nearby woods. He was described as a black male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, and weighing about 200 pounds.

The robbery and the suspect were similar to the June 19 incident at Key Bank on Military Road in the Town of Niagara, according to police officials.

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office and U.S. Border Patrol also assisted in the search for the suspect.
