The Lewiston/Niagara-on-the-Lake Rotary Club is sponsoring Lewiston's first barbecue rib festival Aug. 14-15 at Academy Park.
Volunteers are needed for the "Art of Ribs" to work staffing tent, beer or food tents, entertainment or park cleanup crew. Four-hour shifts begin at 8 a.m., noon and 4 p.m. Two hour shifts, only on Saturday, begin at 8 p.m.
All proceeds from the "Art of Ribs" will go toward Mount St. Mary's Hospital to purchase a transport isolet for the Maternity Ward and contribute to the Breast Care Center.
