Niagara University is offering a college board-endorsed Advanced Placement Summer Institute Aug. 2-6 for new and experienced AP teachers. The institute will offer in-depth training on seven subject areas with emphasis on course content, organization and methodology. Subjects covered will include biology, calculus AB, economics, English literature, environmental science, U.S. government, politics and history.
Classes will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Cost for the institute is $895, which includes all books and materials.
