Lew-Port names valedictorian, salutatorian

Lewiston-Porter High School has announced that Jenna Brydges has been selected as valedictorian and Jenna VanDusen as salutatorian for the Class of 2010.

Jenna Brydges is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darin Brydges of Lewiston. Her future plans are to study international business and Chinese at the University of Maryland. She is a member of Leadership for Youth in Niagara County, the National Honor Society, SADD and is an International Exchange student to China. Jenna has received the NSLI and James Bradley Peace Foundation Scholarship Award and the Williams College Book Award.

Jenna VanDusen is the daughter of Lt. Col. Patrick Roemer & Mrs. Cyndi VanDusen-Roemer and the daughter of the late Dr. Lance VanDusen, DDS, of Lewiston. Her future plans are to study biochemistry at Ithaca College and becoming an orthopedic surgeon. She is a member of the National Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, Lancer Council President, Key Club, Varsity Club secretary, Class of 2010 Historian, and track team captain. Jenna has received the Harvard Book Award and was a nominee for the Hewitt Award. Other accomplishments are a Level 10 national qualifier gymnast and a member of the soccer team.

Lewiston-Porter High School extends its congratulations to this year's honorees.
