A total of 100 cars signed in for competition June 4 at Ransomville Speedway. Mother Nature proved not to be a friend as light showers hit the area just as the hot lap session came to a close. Big R management forged on, and was able to complete the entire racing program in less than two-and-a-half hours amidst on and off moisture.

Ricky Richner of Niagara Falls notched the win aboard the 30-lap Mighty Taco Modified main event. Richner used a move to the inside of Robbie Krull on the final circuit to take over the point position and claim the checkered flag. Krull had to settle for second followed by Scott Kerwin, Sam Crogan and Todd Burley. Scott Just had led the first 26 circuits prior to losing the lead position to Krull. Krull led the next three go-rounds before Richner took over the top spot and the win. A total of 28 cars were in attendance.

Allan Wills of Ransomville won his first-ever feature main at the Big R. Wills took the lead at the drop of the green and maintained it through the entire 25-lap distance. Wills emerged a very happy young man amongst a Victory Lane full of family and friends. Justin Wright, Greg Martin, Mark Chiddy and Ryan Susice rounded out the top five. Twenty cars took the initial green.

Pat Dell of Ransomville took top honors aboard the first 15-lap Ki-Po Chevrolet Streetstock main event. Dell took the lead away from Andy Smith on lap six and never looked back aboard his No. 14p machine. Smith held on for second, followed by Brandon Sherwood, Scott Krull and Ricky Washburn.

Jaren Israel of Wilson won his second Ki-Po Chevrolet Streetstock main event of the 2010 season aboard his No. 10 machine. Israel took the lead on lap one and quickly distanced himself from the remainder of the field. Israel collected the win over Chris Burek, Mark Loveland, Kenny Washburn and John Carlson.

Jim Stone of Ransomville won the four-cylinder challenge between the Bobcat of Buffalo Firehall Enduro Series and the Gippsters Collision 4 Banger class. Stone took the lead at the drop of the green and held it the entire 12-lap distance. Matt Matson, Chris Lederhouse, Jamie Woods, and Ryan Stephenson rounded out the top five.
