William Stillman, a nationally known autism spectrum speaker and award-winning author, will be the keynote speaker for the first-ever special needs conference, "Demystifying Autism: An Inside-Out Perspective," on June 8 and 9.

The conference will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Niagara County Community College.

As a person with Asperger's syndrome, Stillman provides a non-clinical, humanistic overview of the autism spectrum from the perspective of those who experience it.

The conference is open to the public. Participants must attend day one in order to participate in day two of the workshop. The cost is $60. To register, call the Learning Pathways Program/Workforce Community Development at NCCC at 614-6236 or visit niagaracc.suny.edu/wfcd/lp.
