Castellani Art Museum series focuses on MET

The Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University will host "Meet Me at the Met," a six-part series of educational art history programs for its members focusing in the world-renowned collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.  Over the course of six Wednesday mornings, participants will view 12 lectures from the Teaching Company's Museum Masterpieces: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, taught by Richard Bretell, University of Texas at Dallas. 

Each session runs from 10 a.m. to noon, and features a film, guest speakers and facilitated discussions. Coffee, tea and light refreshments are included. Admission is free, but Castellani Art Museum membership is required to attend.  You can become a member by signing up when you attend the program, or by downloading and mailing in the membership form from the museum's Web site, www.castellaniartmuseum.org. Annual membership dues ($15 for seniors) come with a variety of benefits, including this free lecture series.

Participants may attend any number of programs, but pre-registration is strongly encouraged since space is limited. The schedule of programs is as follows:
