For years, the Village of Lewiston has shown our patriotic pride by organizing and securing donations for a firework show for all local communities to enjoy. This year, some of the funding from local municipalities was not provided, resulting in a shortfall.

State Sen. Rob Ortt recognized North Tonawanda resident Master Sgt. Sue Clark as a New York "Woman of Distinction" during a ceremony at the Legislative Office Building. Clark was personally selected by Ortt and was among 62 other distinguished women who were honored by the State Senate earlier this week.
