Edward Town Middle School's production of "Frozen, Jr." is playing at Niagara Wheatfield Senior High School at 7 p.m. Dec. 1-2 and at 2 p.m. Dec. 3. The cast of approximately 50 students is directed by Ken Fick and Andrea Letcher.

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced 63-year-old Gerald Steven Pigeon, also known as Steve Pigeon, of Niagara Falls, pleaded guilty this afternoon before State Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller to one count of sexual abuse in the first degree (class "D" violent felony). The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge ahead of a jury trial that was scheduled to begin next month.

At 1:52 a.m. Saturday, Niagara County Sheriff's Office patrol attempted to initiate a traffic stop for speed in the 4700 block of Tonawanda Creek Road. A white BMW sedan was observed traveling 91 MPH in the 45 MPH zone. Patrols could not safely catch up to the vehicle and the area was checked.

Award-winning artist Mac Powell releases his new "Christmas" EP featuring five songs that will make your holiday playlists this year.
