Candice Glover wins 'American Idol'

"American Idol's" dueling divas showdown came to an exhilarating close Thursday as Candice Glover was crowned the winner during the live two-hour season finale on FOX. Glover, 23, from St. Helena Island, S.C., edged out fellow female finalist Kree Harrison, 22, from Woodville, Texas, to win the "Idol" title.
'Thursday at Canalside' concert series lineup revealed

Buffalo Place Inc. announced its "Thursday at Canalside" summer concert lineup on Wednesday. This year, the entire series is moving to the Buffalo waterfront. Free weekly concerts run from 5 until 9:30 p.m.
