When we last saw Jack Bauer, his country abandoned him. The government, the agencies he had protected so many times, sought his end. He was on the run, and going off the gird.

When Jack Bauer returns Monday, after four years in exile, he will once again risk his life to protect American lives.

Why?

Because he's Jack Bauer.

'Warehouse 13' goes out on top
Mon, Apr 28th 2014 06:00 pm
Not every show gets to end on its own terms, nor does every cast get to bring closure to its characters. "Warehouse 13" was fortunate enough to conclude its five-year run in a manner its showrunner and stars said was gratifying for them, and will be satisfying to fans of the "thrilleromedy" (thriller-drama-comedy).
'Warehouse 13' stars reflect on five stellar seasons
Mon, Apr 28th 2014 05:55 pm
"Warehouse 13" impressively accomplished much in five seasons.

It was a ratings hit at a time when sci-fi shows are hit-and-miss with viewers. The show's writers wonderfully blended action, drama and comedy into storylines that were suitable for any audience type - families included.

Interview: 'Continuum' improves upon its past
Tue, Apr 22nd 2014 05:50 pm
How many times have you watched a TV show and thought, "Why did they do that?" Or, "Where is this story going?" Perhaps even, "I wish they wouldn't have killed off that character." Wouldn't it be cool if, just once, a show actually went back and made major revisions to previous episodes?

Tue, Apr 15th 2014 06:00 pm
INTERVIEW: Christina Grimmie is a serious contender - and that makes her a serious threat to the other coaches.

But that's not how she sees it.

Interview: Dermot Mulroney sheds some light on 'Crisis'
Sat, Mar 22nd 2014 08:25 pm
The first episode of NBC's "Crisis" was delightfully twisty. A busload of Ballard High School students is kidnapped; these teens, the offspring of D.C.'s power players, are used as pawns as their parents are forced to work for the captors.
'Crisis' is a fun ride of uncertainty, chaos
Mon, Mar 17th 2014 05:30 pm

'The Voice': Ria Eaton is a rags-to-riches story
Mon, Mar 17th 2014 12:50 pm
INTERVIEW: "The Voice" is a life-changing opportunity for singer Ria Eaton. To put it bluntly, her appearance on the hit NBC reality series was like winning the lottery - a one-in-a-million shot to be plucked from obscurity, and to work with musicians she'd never be able to work with on her own.

Mon, Mar 10th 2014 05:50 pm
Performing in "The Voice's" blind auditions is hard, but it's nothing compared to taking the stage for the "Battle Rounds" and the "Knockouts."

Mon, Mar 10th 2014 05:40 pm
If "American Idol's" "thing" is to showcase less-talented singers in the hopes of getting a laugh from viewers, then "The Voice's" "thing" is to showcase more-talented singers in the hopes of inspiring viewers.

Sat, Mar 1st 2014 02:10 pm
NBC's "The Voice" is the top-rated singing competition on television and well-liked by critics. But if there's one criticism the show gets before each cycle, it's that the show has yet to produce a mega star.

That could change this season thanks to "Voice" standouts Christina Grimmie and Bria Kelly.

Sat, Mar 1st 2014 01:55 pm

'The Blacklist': James Spader knocking 'Red' Reddington role out of the park
Mon, Jan 20th 2014 02:00 pm
In the real world, someone like Raymond "Red" Reddington would certainly be looked upon as a man of questionable morals, and not the kind of person one would emulate. In fact, he would be a cautionary tale for those who would seek a life of crime and lawlessness.
'Helix' a scary good Syfy series
Fri, Jan 17th 2014 04:05 pm
The show, in fact, is not another zombie show. Nor is it typical Syfy fare, for that matter. It's not a deliciously B-movie, like, say, "Mega Python vs. Gatoroid" or "Sharknado." It's not brooding like "Being Human" or whimsical like "Eureka."
Intense actors square off in 'Helix'
Fri, Jan 17th 2014 04:00 pm

Thu, Dec 12th 2013 12:15 pm
Portland Det. Nick Burkhardt began the season as a zombie, was cured (but kept some super-powers), and has since dealt with the three little pigs (who were vengeful, Wesen-killing chefs), underwater sea monsters and a "Hulk"-strong boy who appeared to be possessed. Just in time for the holiday season, he will square off with "Krampus," a giant, horned villain who somewhat resembles like Santa Claus.

'The Voice': One of these singers will win season 5
Mon, Nov 4th 2013 09:10 am
Predicting who will win a reality singing competition is a little like trying to figure out Google analytics. We think we know what works and what doesn't, but at the end of the day, TV audiences are as hard to predict as search engine rankings.

Still, just as we know page traffic, links and social media factor into what we see on Google, we know a few things about what singers need to do to garner votes.

'The Voice': Holly Henry has momentum heading into 'Knockouts'
Mon, Oct 28th 2013 07:00 am
Can a shy singer, whose preferred studio is her bedroom, win "The Voice?"

Holly Henry, 19, who entered the show admittedly shy and with little performing experience, is now halfway through television's top singing competition.

With steals in play, coaches share the wealth on 'The Voice'
Mon, Oct 28th 2013 07:00 am
"The Voice" gives new meaning to '"lose the battle, win the war" - at least for those singers who are "stolen" in the show's "Battle" and "Knockout" rounds. For these performers, a loss in a head-to-head competition eliminated them from one team, and led to their selection by a second team.
Interview: 'Grimm' is a joy for actress Bitsie Tulloch
Fri, Oct 25th 2013 07:00 am
A Portland cop with ancient powers battles shape-shifting wesen while trying to lead a normal life alongside his best friend (who is, basically, the Big Bad Wolf), and his longtime girlfriend (who, for many months, had boyfriend-specific amnesia).

It might be called "Grimm," but it's undeniably fun to watch.
