State University of New York (SUNY) Chancellor John B. King, Jr. and Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY) President and CEO Reuben R. McDaniel announced DASNY's first-ever issuance of sustainability bonds on behalf of SUNY to support its residence hall program. DASNY issued approximately $113 million SUNY dormitory facilities revenue bonds with a sustainability designation.

The presentation, "Are Mass Shootings Preventable? Lessons Learned from Previous Tragedies," is free and open to the public.

Niagara County student internship program begins Sept. 19

The Niagara County Legislature internship program is set to begin Sept. 19, and there are still some openings available for students who attend any Niagara County high schools. The program, run by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County (CCE-Niagara), goes from September to February and is a commitment of about two evenings a month.
Francis Center meat & basket raffles to benefit community programs

Niagara and Medaille reach agreement for clinical mental health counseling and M.S.Ed.

Niagara University's College of Education recently finalized its partnership agreement with Medaille University to teach out both the clinical mental health counseling program and the M.S.Ed. in teacher education program. Through this agreement, more than 320 graduate students from Medaille can complete their degree program at Niagara University.
