The Niagara Tourism & Convention Corp. has announced the popular daytime game show "The Price Is Right" will once again offer the Niagara USA destination as a prize for a vacation.

The Buffalo Sabres have announced that seven Sabres games during the 2012-13 regular season will be broadcast nationally on NBC and NBC Sports Network. MSG, the Sabres' local TV rights-holder, will air the remaining 41 games of the 48-game season. All 48 Sabres games in 2012-13 will be available in high-definition.

From Feb. 14 through 17, in collaboration with the Castellani Art Museum, NU Theatre will present "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" by Steve Martin. Artist-in-residence/recruiter Adriano Gatto will direct this absurdly comic play about the relationship between art and science, talent and genius. This production will be performed at the Castellani Art Museum amidst a specially curated art exhibit.

On Feb. 25, top morning talk show "LIVE with Kelly and Michael" returns to Hollywood for the show's second post-Oscar broadcast, just hours after the 85th Academy Awards presentation comes to a close. On Oscar Sunday, Feb. 24, charities in 45 cities will bring the Oscar experience to life at viewing parties in each city. The "Oscar Experience: Benefits" is the Academy's grassroots outreach program that allows charities across the country to host official Oscar parties while raising money for their causes.

The Buffalo Sabres have announced that approximately 18,000 tickets remain for the 2012-13 regular season. Four games have sold out and only limited seating is available for the remaining games. The 18,000 tickets that remain will go on sale to the general public Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 10 a.m.

WWE is returning to First Niagara Center with "Monday Night RAW" on Monday, March 4 - just one month before "WrestleMania 29." Superstars scheduled to appear include John Cena, Sheamus, Rey Mysterio and Kofi Kingston.

And, it's just been announced that The Rock will appear at this "RAW."

NBC Sports Group will air 70 NHL regular-season games across NBC and NBC Sports Network this season. The schedule includes 14 exclusive windows (15 games) on NBC, the most regular-season windows ever for the network, as well as 24 exclusive windows and 26 exclusive games on NBC Sports Network.

The Buffalo Sabres have announced that 31,213 tickets for the 2012-13 season were sold on Sunday during a 24-hour presale period for current season-ticket holders and current mini-pack holders. The mark set a record for single-day ticket sales for the club - excluding the 2008 Winter Classic - with the general on-sale for individual game tickets to begin on Tuesday, Jan. 15.

A world premiere adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic "Treasure Island" by local playwright L. Don Swartz will be presented at the Ghostlight Theatre, 170 Schenck St., North Tonawanda, in February.

The Buffalo Sabres have announced the team will open its week of training camp practices at First Niagara Center to the public, beginning with a night practice and scrimmage on Monday, Jan. 14, at 5:30 p.m. For the remainder of the week, from Tuesday to Friday, practices will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
