Artpark makes final push for 'Niagara '79' 2017 campaign

In the summer of 1979, artist Gene Davis (whose estate is held by the Smithsonian American Art Museum) installed artwork at Artpark titled "Niagara '79." The artwork came to be known as "The Painted Parking Lot," and guests said it was "incredible."

American Niagara Hospitality donates over 2,500 items to Community Missions

American Niagara Hospitality, which owns and operates Sheraton At The Falls, Days Inn At The Falls, Rainforest Cafe, TGI Fridays, Starbucks Café and the Niagara American Grill, donated over 2,500 items to Community Missions in Niagara Falls on Tuesday. Additionally, the company's 50 managers visited to the agency to volunteer, learn and to demonstrate community leadership.

Attorney General Schneiderman announces felony indictment of Ortt and Maziarz

Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman on Thursday announced the unsealing of an indictment charging New York State Sen. Robert Ortt with three felony counts of filing a false instrument in the first degree. Ortt's predecessor in the state senate, former State Sen. George Maziarz, was also charged in the indictment with five felony counts of offering a false instrument for filing in the first degree.
