On Thursday, Nov. 17, Michael H. Kooshoian was sworn-in to represent the 3rd District of the Erie County Legislature. Democrats in the district chose Kooshoian to replace Lisa M. Chimera, following her appointment to deputy county executive. The legislature's Democratic caucus approved Kooshoian unanimously.

The initiative provides small businesses with five employees or fewer with loan/grant funding of up to $35,000 thanks to resources made available through the federal CARES Act.

This is part of ECDOH's monkeypox vaccine outreach campaign, which began in July in coordination with Evergreen Health, MOCHA Buffalo, the Pride Center of WNY, Upstate NY Black and Latino Pride, and GLYS WNY.
