Memorial names Suitor director of public safety, emergency services

H. James Suitor has been named director of public safety and emergency services at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. He brings with him 37 years of law enforcement experience in positions including investigative, supervisory, administrative and in emergency management.

The event, originally scheduled for 2021, is returning to Niagara Falls USA for the first time since 2019.
NFPD investigating shooting

Shortly after 1 a.m. this morning, the Niagara Falls Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the 400 block of Ninth Street. Upon arrival, the officers found a 30-year-old male with a gunshot wound. Police immediately began to render aid to the victim before he was transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Once there, he was pronounced deceased.
