On March 7, at approximately 8:12 pm, the Niagara Falls Police Department crash investigation unit responded to the 2100 block of Hyde Park Blvd to investigate a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The Niagara USA 250 committee has selected a logo for local celebrations of America's 250th birthday in 2026. The logo was designed by Edgepath, a Lockport-based graphic design firm. The image ties into the national America 250 logo, but includes local features such as Niagara Falls.
