'Road Rally' to benefit Niagara County Historical Society

Niagara County clerks says US government taking longer to process passport applications

Niagara County Clerk Joseph A. Jastrzemski on Wednesday warned travelers in need of a passport that the U.S. Department of State is taking longer to process passport applications. Jastrzemski said routine processing will now take 10-13 weeks, and expedited processing - which costs an additional $60 - will take seven to nine weeks.

A little church trying to make a big difference

Recently, St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wilson presented local shut-ins, past church members who are no longer able to attend Mass, and low-income individuals, with a little good will and a sure sign of spring. Over 50 people were presented with hand-crocheted baskets, each containing blooming crocuses, along with chocolates donated by Park Side in Buffalo.
