Gerald A. "Gippster" Gipp, age 61, of Lewiston, died Feb. 25, 2024. Gerry was a son of the late Arthur and Joan Gipp. He lived his entire life in Lewiston, graduating from Lewiston-Porter High School in 1981. He went on to earn an AOS from Alfred State College in 1983.

Niagara County on Wednesday announced the launch of the Connect Niagara bus service, which replaces the former Niagara Rural Transportation service. Connect Niagara offers new routes and better connectivity, including free transfers to connecting routes and NFTA Metro buses. The new routes go into effect Monday, March 4.
